Family is the most important thing to my mom. She pretty much raised her eight children by herself. Of course, my dad was there for us, but with eight children, his focus was putting food on the table and didn’t have much time to spare. Growing up, my mom refused to have any help in the house, she wanted to do it all on her own and she never complained.  Now that we are all adults and living on our own, we try to include her in our lives every chance we get, but to my mom, it will never be enough.
